​You Book Us-You Work With Us:
When booking with Wild West Weddings you will be working with me (Caitlin) directly from the start of your inquiry, all the way past your wedding day to that final photo gallery delivery date. Other companies may send someone random who you have never spoken to before, or someone who hasn't been there to plan with you along the way. We say no to that "corporate company moto". I will be the one to set up your initial consultation, send over your contract, answer all forms of communication, set up that final wedding consult, and most of all I will be the one to photograph your entire wedding day. The work you see displayed on our website and social media reflects my personal work, not someone else's. We take pride in working with our couples directly side by side and that is a part of our brand as it reflects Andrew and I. We only do this to be able to form those close relationships with our Wild couples who are tying the knot and who trust us throughout the process.

Camera Awkwardness: 

Are you camera shy? Are you awkward in front of a camera? Your comfort is our top priority! We always get to know our couples before working together. That's through an initial consultation to better understand your personalities, preferences, and concerns which assist us in tailoring our approach to ensure you both feel relaxed and natural in front of our cameras. When it comes to choosing a photographer, making sure they are friendly and approachable is very important and Andrew and I are just that! We aren't just at your wedding taking photos, but also building connections. We will blend into your special day like a friend and create an atmosphere where you both forget about the camera and instead focus on the joy of the moment. Another important thing we focus on when it comes to comfort is posing guidance, but not formal poses ("ick"). We believe in capturing real, unscripted moments. Instead of stiff poses, we offer gentle guidance that allows you to be yourself. It's about capturing the natural chemistry and interactions between you and your partner, creating timeless images that reflect your authentic connection. Just prepare yourselves for an experience filled with laughter, relaxation and creating new memories together. Lastly, we understand that everyone has their own comfort levels. In a reflection of that, we are patient, and understanding of not knowing "exactly what to do", and that is why you are hiring us to guide you through the whole wedding process.

Creativity:

What makes our photos different? Our creativity is non comparable to others. We bring more to the table besides just ordinary "formal" wedding photos. When it comes to movement and poses, we tailor every decision we make around our couples and that is why each wedding looks different from the last. Andrew and I are constantly brainstorming and educating ourselves on new movements, angles, lighting and poses to bring new ideas to our weddings so that each of our couples have their own unique gallery instead of a "traditional cookie cutter" wedding where everything looks the same. Communication: 

When it comes to communication we give our couples the option to contact us through email, The Knot, on social media pages, and through text message which our brides prefer most! We live in such a fast past world, so we understand that text message is the easier route and we are all for it. When it comes to response time, we guarantee a response to all messages within 24 hours. All of our couples know that they can reach us at any point in time whether it be questions about the services they have booked with us, or for wedding planning advice! This is very important when it comes to our relationships with our couples.

We will be with you the entire day you know, so we have to like each other haha!  You will enjoy yourselves more, and will be able to open up to your photographer so that we know exactly what you are looking for and having similar interests is even better. We have couples that invite us to their after parties, or send us holiday cards and touching base text messages even after they have received their final images. End Goal:

Our goal is for our Brides and Grooms to plan a date night and to sit back, and relax together while scrolling through their final wedding gallery. Maybe add a glass of wine, or cold beer to the mix. The tears will be flowing, tissues will be flying, goofy laughs will be filling the room. A reflection on the day where the most important people in their lives were all under one roof. Maybe some of those people are no longer with us, or maybe they haven't seen those people in a very long time. Those memories are the ones we freeze in time to have forever and that is a really unique super power we can say that we have. This is what we want all of our couples to feel when reflecting on the creativity and passion we have poured into their wedding day. From the beginning to the end of their gallery, they will be brought back to their wedding day instantly.
