MEET THE TWO BEHIND THE WEST
A LITTLE WILD. A LOT IN LOVE.
Long before there was Wild West Weddings, there was just us.
Two Upstate New Yorkers who fell in love, built a life together, packed that life with travels and adopting dogs, and somewhere along the way discovered that some of our happiest days were spent with a camera in hand, music playing, and two people promising forever.
More than a decade later, we've built a life that looks a little different than most.
We're full time wedding professionals, husband + wife, animal rescuers, road-trip lovers, sunset chasers, outdoor enthusiasts and two people who are best friends at the end of the day.
We believe we've been incredibly blessed to build a life together doing work we love and we don't take that for granted.
Wild West Weddings is part of our story.
Now we get to use it to tell yours.
OUR STORY STARTED 10+ YEARS AGO...
Before Wild West Weddings, before Texas, before the rescue, and long before we knew what this life would become there was just the two of us. We met in Upstate New York in the private event industry and quickly realized we shared something that would shape nearly everything we've built together: we both dreamed big, worked hard, and weren't particularly interested in living an ordinary life. We grew up together in a lot of ways. We spent our early years figuring out adulthood side by side, building careers, chasing ideas, taking chances and eventually turning a passion for weddings into the full-time business we now get to run together. And somewhere along the way, we fell in love with the West.
Three years ago, it was finally our turn to make those promises to each other. Marriage only made us love weddings differently. Today, our life together is beautifully full.
We run Wild West Weddings side by side, travel the country documenting love stories, and share our home with 18 dogs while running an animal rescue + sanctuary dedicated to giving animals who need us most a place to call home.
We've chased sunsets across state lines, hiked mountains and canyons, driven countless back roads, worked more wedding weekends than we could ever count, cared for animals together, built businesses together, weathered hard seasons together and dreamed up some pretty crazy ideas along the way.
Our story hasn't followed a traditional path.
But that's probably what we love most about it.
We built this life together one leap of faith, one adventure and one very wild idea at a time.
And we're nowhere near finished.
A FEW THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT US...
→ We run an animal rescue + sanctuary together
→ Our 18 dogs are our kids and yes, our house is as chaotic as you're imagining.
→ We'd choose mountains, ranch country and wide-open spaces
→ We've traveled all over the country together and we're always plotting the next adventure.
→ We're competitive. Sports and board games can get serious in our house.
→ Country music + line dancing will always have our hearts.
→ Golden hour is our favorite time of day. No contest.
→ We're both creatives, which means we're constantly bouncing another crazy idea off each other.
→ We love a good prank, neither of us is safe.
→ Give us a mountain view, a dirt road and somewhere we've never been and we're happy.

If there's a camera, a new business idea or something that needs to be made prettier, I'm probably already working on it.
02 — ANIMALS ARE MY WEAKNESS
Our dogs are our kids, and running our rescue + sanctuary is one of the biggest pieces of my heart. If I pass a dog on the road, its most likely coming home with me.
03 — CHASING THE VIEW
Mountains, canyons, ranches, wildflowers and golden-hour skies; I'll take an incredible view over a city scape any day.
04 — ALWAYS DREAMING UP SOMETHING
I'm an entrepreneur at heart and almost always have another idea, project or adventure brewing.
05 — FOOD IS PART OF THE ADVENTURE
Italian, Mexican and seafood are the way to my heart. I am a crunchy girl and love my juices and organic food! Half the fun of traveling is figuring out where we're eating.

Put me behind a DJ booth and I'm home. Music, packed dance floors and bringing people together have been part of my life for years.

Sports, games, friendly competitions I'm playing to win. Caitlin knows this better than anyone.
03 — NEW YORK FOOD HAS MY HEART
You can take me out of New York, but you can't take New York out of me. Pizza, bagels, bacon egg + cheeses, cannolis and a good cup of coffee will always be the way to my heart.
04 — ALWAYS UP FOR THE ADVENTURE
Road trips, mountains, hiking, ranch country or somewhere we've never been tell me where we're going.
05 — THE OTHER HALF OF THE CRAZY IDEAS
Caitlin usually starts with “Okay, hear me out...” and somehow I end up helping turn the idea into reality.
